JESUS: THE SELF-EXISTENCE YAHWEH (part 1)
By Pastor Thaddaeus Thompson: TMGMinistries.org
Topic Based on 1Timothy 3:16 KJV: “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
According to the Webster dictionary, Yahweh (Pronounced: Yahveh and originally written YHWH) is a form of the Hebrew name of God used in the Bible. The name came to be regarded by Jews (c. 300 BC) and too sacred to be mentioned, and the vowel sounds are uncertain. The Jews feared the name so much they would rather call him Jehovah (another title of Yahweh). So who is this Yahweh?
The Yahweh is the invisible God, and Jesus is the image of the invisible God; the Yahweh is the ultimate power; the Yahweh is the energy that holds creation together and from falling apart; the Yahweh is the consuming fire; the Yahweh is the thundering voice in the mountains mentioned in Exodus 19:16, Revelation 4:5, Revelation 8:5; the Yahweh is a human-like creature that John saw in the Book of Revelation: “His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.” - Revelation 1:14-15 KJV. He is the Lilly of the valley, the bright morning star, the alpha and omega, the beginning, and the ending.
The early Jews reverenced the name Yahweh so much, they could not pronounce it; they feared it. “Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:” - Isaiah 26:4 KJV. “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.” - Psalms 83:18 KJV. And when he was revealed, He said, “Before Abraham I am” Yahweh.
Demons tremble at his name; the mentioning of his name Jesus is strictly forbidden in hell and among the demonic kingdom; they beg Christians not to call out his name Jesus.” The mysterious Yahweh. Read Ezekiel Chapter 1, the entire Chapter and note how the cherubim protect the Glory of the Yahweh – verse 28, “…….. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.”
The modern day church has lost respect for God because it doesn’t know him. We think we do. The day you will stop worrying and thinking about problems is your first day of having a glimpse of Jesus, the mysterious Yahweh. We all love him; it’s different from knowing him. After reading Ezekiel 1, did you feel you knew God? This same creature is the God that we serve: JESUS. The scriptures declare Him:
“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV. The scriptures revealed to us that the mysterious creature in Ezekiel also found in the Book of Daniel and Revelation is the Yahweh that became a man 1Timothy 3:16.
1Timothy 3:16 reveals the once totally invisible Yahweh to us:
We will find out in "Part 2" who Paul describes as “the mystery of godliness.” - The Yahweh
