The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

It is made known to almost everyone that Jesus will be returning soon in all glory and honor. But not everyone acknowledges the fact that he will be returning. They hear about it in the flesh but they don’t hear in the spirit. Jesus refers to these people as unawares. Are you apart of that group of unawares or are you aware of this prophecy? Are you aware of the signs?

 

Matthew 24:1-14 says, “And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

 

Let’s also go to Mark’s perspective: 

Mark 13:1-13 says, “And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

 

So the disciples ask Jesus privately what the signs of the coming of Christ will be and he told them the signs. First, he warned them to not let any man deceive them. The word deceive means to lead someone astray by causing them to believe something false. He is telling his disciples to not let anyone deceive them. Many will come in his name saying that they are Christians when in reality they are not. These false prophets will deceive many. Both children of God and children of Satan.

 

False prophets are anyone who speaks on things that are contrary to the word of God. There are so many of those people on this earth right now in 2020. We have scientists trying to prove God is nonexistent. We have people teaching their own children that God is fake. We have the world saying that sin is okay and fun. We have people deceiving God’s children. These people are all put here by Lucifer to lead people astray. He knows that when we are lead astray we are going to hell. Are you going to fall into the trap? This is put here to see if we will be deceived. Second, there will be wars and rumors of wars.

 

At the beginning of 2020, there was a rumor of World War 3. Particularly in early January. It was all over social media and the news. Not only will there be physical wars but spiritual warfare will be going on. These wars were put here to see if we will be troubled. Thirdly, nations will rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. Look at our nation right now it is more divided than ever. We are divided politically, spiritually, naturally, etc. Nobody is one accord. Everyone has their own opinion and is fighting each other about it. This raised a lot of tension and got everyone’s attention. There will also be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes. Famines have been happening so much lately due to COVID-19 which is a pestilence. Pestilences are diseases that affect the whole entire earth. Which COVID-19 has.

 

Earthquakes have been on the spark. I take a physics class and we were talking about earthquakes and my teacher was always alarming us that an earthquake has happened or will happen. All these earthquakes were very close in range and time frame. I’m talking multiple in a day. Not only natural disasters will occur but spiritual disasters will. Look at the spiritual famine the world is going through. This world has been bound with iniquity and they are deceived. Their spirits are starving for God. Many will be spiritually sick. Filled with spirits. Look at the world isn’t it? Spiritual earthquakes will occur. Earthquakes are a sudden and violent shaking of the ground you are standing on.

 

Christians are standing on firm ground and doesn’t the scripture say we shall not be shaken. Well, the grounds gonna shake and Jesus will see if you are still standing. These divisions and natural disasters took place to see if we will be apart of the group of people who are distracted.  This was the beginning of all sorrows.

 

Fourthly, persecution of Christians will arise. We will be afflicted (caused pain and suffering), killed, and we will be hated all over the earth. They will go up into our churches and beat us. So many Christians were being persecuted in June 2020 and still to this day but the media was silent so you probably did not hear about it. Churches are being destructed and burned. Bibles we being burned. Christians are being killed, hurt, and tortured.

 

Christians are hated by the world because the spirits of Lucifer cause them to hate us because they are afraid of the impact of our Almighty God. These persecutions are set here to see who will deny him.

 

Fifthly, many will be offended and due to this they will betray and hate each other. Look at the church. They are teaching false doctrine and twisting the word since the world gets so offended these days. False prophets are on the rise. They believe they are glorifying God when in reality they are glorifying Satan. These offended spirits are put there to see if you will seek to please God or man.

 

Sixthly, iniquity shall abound and the love of many will be waxed cold. Look at the world iniquity has been made into the norm, the popular, etc. so many people are in iniquity and nobody fears the Lord, anyone, like in the Old Testament. The love of many is waxed cold.

 

In Matthew 13:15 it says, “For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

 

The emotion love is stored in the heart then transferred to the brain. In this scripture, Jesus is referring to the people who have the spirit of slumber or the spirit of reprobate. Our whole world is full of people with these spirits. Their hearts are waxed cold and gross. This is put here to test if your spirit will fall asleep? Whoever endures through all these tests will be saved.

 

Lastly, the Gospel will be preached unto all of the world for a witness unto all nations and then the end will come. This is put here so nobody has an excuse. Nothing is coincidental So why did Jesus choose these signs out of all signs he could’ve given us. He chose these exact signs to see who was going to endure unto the end. He chose these exact signs to see who was gonna stand firm. This is apart of our Christian walk. This is the molding of our walk.

 

Jeremiah 18:1-10 says, “The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel. At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.”

 

The potter is Jesus, we are the clay. First, he has to get rid of the rocks which the pain and sin. Second, he smacks us on the table to get rid of the air which is pride. Third, he spins us and this gets rid of the hate and bad emotions. Fourth, he molds us from a sinner to a child of God. Fifth, he puts you on a shelf since you are still wet and he will step away. The air will hit you. Hopefully, you don’t crack if you do you are already going to hell. This occurs before the last days. Then lastly he will put you in the furnace of affliction (end days). You will experience turbulence which is a series of times when your faith will be tried. Then the potter will take you out and he will keep the ones with no spots or blemishes. In these end days as we are experiencing these signs, we are currently in the furnace of affliction. And when the rapture happens that will be when God takes us out of the furnace and picks the ones without spots. These signs are the trying of our faith. As Jesus said, “He who shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

 

The Second Coming of Christ will be unexpected. It will either be a day of regret and sorrow for many or a day of joy for many. You do not want to go to hell which is an exclusion from God’s presence. The whole universe will be amazed when they see it. But, you do not want to be the one who only gets a glimpse of the glory and power of God then comes to the realization that you missed the chance to spend eternity with him because of your own lusts and desires. You will really be wondering if it was really worth it. Not everyone is promised salvation, but everyone is promised the opportunity to be saved. Commit your life to Christ and surrender all of your sins to the cross. Nail all your sins to the cross and follow Jesus.

 

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according to as his work shall be.” (Revelation 22:12).

 

“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:6-8).
